Reconnect with your body, breath, and nervous system in a safe, supportive space.
Discover the therapeutic benefits of yoga, and how it can support you in your life. Sessions are available in-person at my private studio on the Delft-Rijswijk border or online.
Yoga Therapy is not like the yoga you will find in group classes. In our yoga therapy sessions we work together to meet you, were you are at. It's a personalized one-on-one approach, that supports your physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
It’s a collaborative process that draws from traditional practices and modern science to help you reconnect with your body, your breath, and your life.
Rather than following a set routine, we explore what you need—whether it’s strength, softness, clarity, calm, or something in between.
Yoga therapy provides a space to meet yourself more fully.
To listen. To feel. To connect to yourself.
Yoga therapy offers you practices that support your body, your breath, your nervous system, and your life. All in a gentle and sustainable way. Our sessions are meant and made to support you, no matter what you are going through.
One of my favorite things about the sessions, is that I get to offer my clients a safe space, where they can fully be themselves. No parts to play, no masks to wear. A place that meets you where you are, and support's you there.
Yoga therapy benefits:
"Yoga therapy with Biddy is a very pleasant and calming experience. Biddy pays close attention to what's possible and what's most appropriate & helpful in the moment. She gives my body and mind the space to participate within my own boundaries"
- Marije
"yoga therapy with Biddy has been enriching in every way. I really appreciated her warm attention, spot-on insights, and the depth of knowledge and experience she brought into helping me reach deep relaxation."
- Mélanie
Your experience, feedback & input is important, and invited.
We respect that your body is unique. We work with how you feel physically, mentally & emotionally.
We will breathe, move & rest in ways to support you to feel grounded, spacious and at ease.
Sometimes I will record or write out practices we explored together, that you can use outside of our sessions. There is also the option to receive a personlized online collection with video and audio recordings, to support you in between our sessions.
Whether you're navigating stress, pain, illness, or want more connection to yourself; yoga therapy can meet you there.
"Biddy's Yoga Therapy sessions have supported me on every level. Physically, in my recovery after surgery, and emotionally, with feelings that were stored in my body. I felt safe and at ease to share personal matters, and allow any emotions to be there."
- Viola
Yoga Therapy can support you in various stages of your life:
There is no performance in our sessions, no need to be flexible or "zen". All that you need, is to show up with a curious mind and be your beautiful self.
Your first visit is a conversation. We take time, tea (and chocolate 😉) to talk about what brought you to these sessions.
What is going on in your life, and what do you hope I can support you with?
Our second meeting starts our movement together.
We explore what movement feels good in your body, what movement you might dislike. What makes you happy and what makes you relax?
"The sessions helped me to find the type of movement that suits my body. Biddy showed lots of understanding and knowledge. Thank you!"
- Justyna
These first two sessions help me discover what you are hoping to find, what we can do, and also what we might want to stay away from. They will be the foundation that all our sessions after, will grow from.
In addition to my 700+ hour training as a Yoga Teacher, I'm now in the final stages of becoming a certified Yoga Therapist, with 875 hours of training through The Yoga Therapy Institute. The goal is to finish my thesis and final case studies in the fall of 2025.
My training there included:
My approach is grounded in safety, respect, and a deep understanding of how yoga can support healing and resilience.
The main reason I chose to become a Yoga Therapist, is that I love working 1-on-1 with people. The space and time it gives to truly connect to my clients, feels like a privilige and brings so much joy.
A little more about me

No. You don't need any experience with yoga, meditation or breathwork to start. Yoga Therapy meets you, where you are at. It will be accessible wether you have decades of experience or none!
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and relax in. A pair of warm socks can be very nice during relaxation practices. There is no need for yoga pants if that’s not your thing. I always recommend bringing a towel or shawl, so that we can cover my pillows and blankets with something that smells familiar. I have everything ready for you to use, from yoga props to tea and chocolate. However, some clients prefer to bring their own eye pillows, blankets etc. and you are more than welcome to do that.
This depends on your needs and what feels manageable for you. Many clients come every 1–2 weeks. Some prefer to spread it out more. We can find a rhythm that works for your life and your energy.
My practice space is located on Broekmolenweg 20, in Rijswijk at the border with Delft. There is free parking for your bike and car on site, and tramline 1 & 19 stop at 220 meters (about a 3 minute walk). Click here to plan your route.
For every appointment you make, you'll receive a confirmation email. In that mail, you will also find a link to re-schedule your appointment. If you need to cancel within 24 hours , please also send a message to my WhatsApp: +31629398856 to make sure I will know in time!
Yes! I am a big fan of working online. It allows me to help you find ways to practice at home, or wherever you want to join me from. It also helps us keep our rhythm of appointments, as I sometimes have to travel for work. You will need a device with a camera and a space where you can move and speak comfortably.
Currently, Yoga Therapy is not reimbursed by Dutch health insurance. However, some clients have been able to use a work related budget and get (partial) compensation through their employer health benefit plans. You can always ask your employer or insurance provider.
Yoga Therapy goes much deeper than a private yoga class. We begin with a full intake and physical inquiry, so the sessions are shaped around your whole experience. Together, we explore movement, breath, rest, and awareness in a way that supports your body, mind, and nervous system.
Yoga Therapy also requires extensive additional study. I’m currently in the final stages of completing my 875-hour Yoga Therapy training, which includes anatomy, physiology, psychology, pain science, trauma-informed care, and therapeutic applications of yoga. Most Yoga teacher trainings on the other hand, focus on the yoga philosophy, history and yoga practices such as yoga asana (shapes), breathwork and meditation.
If you’d like my dog Jilly to be present during our session, you can tick the ‘Jilly, yes please’ box when booking. If she’s in the mood to join, she’ll be there. (She’s our unofficial emotional support dog, but she also values her nap schedule.)
That's not a problem, Jilly will only be there if you requested her during your booking and it fits her schedule!
That’s completely welcome. Emotions are part of being human. My goal is always to create a space of safety and care, with full permission to feel whatever comes up—without needing to fix or change it.
I believe that this work should be accessible. That’s why I offer a sliding scale and financial aid. If money is the only thing stopping you, please reach out—we’ll figure it out together. Send an email to biddy@yogawithbiddy.com
If your question was not answered here, please don't hesitate to reach out! You can send me an email at biddy@yogawithbiddy.com or book an free call with me here.
